A little bit about Petty Paper
Petty Paper started when I realized I couldn't stand most greeting cards. They were either painfully cheesy or aggressively meh. I wanted something that actually sounded like how I joked with my friends and family; Honest, a little petty, and unwilling to settle for mediocrity (in words or paper). So I started designing cards that say what everyone’s actually thinking, but pettier.
Before we opened our official site here, we made our cards directly into the hands of more than 4,000 customers and have expanded into more than 60 retail stores within our first 3 months of opening up wholesale! That's only done with your amazing support.

Being petty isn’t about being mean, per say; In fact you cant still find some cutesy cards throughout the site. It’s about honesty wrapped in good typography. We believe humor can comfort, connection can be sarcastic, and sincerity doesn’t always need a heart emoji.

Hey nice to meet you! I go by Jay. I'm the mind behind Petty Paper. I've had the opportunity to work in design for more than 15 years and needed to find my outlet, and here it is. What you get is Petty Paper, a stationery brand built on the idea that snark needs a little more love with quality and customer service that stands unmatched.
Every Petty Paper design comes from a mix of humor, design precision, and mild exasperation with the world’s forced positivity. The goal? Cards that live somewhere between “I love you” and “I can’t believe you did that.”
When I’m not obsessing over paper textures or ink density, I’m usually testing how far a joke can go before it gets me uninvited from family events.
